Concept: Accordion Pleats is the formal term, while “Organ Pleats” is the nickname used in the industry. This fabric can be folded compactly along the parallel pleats. There are curved and straight variations, and the pleats in the attached image are Accordion Pleats Straight.
Pleat Type Difference: Accordion Pleats differ from Sunray Pleats in that the pleats of Accordion Pleats are of equal size on both top and bottom sides. In contrast, Sunray Pleats have one side with smaller pleats and the other side with larger pleats.
